Chepstow Mencap are busy fundraising towards the refurbishment of the Board School, a beautiful, but neglected building in the historic heart of Chepstow town. It is our vision  for it to be completed by February 2020. The Board School will become a vibrant, fully accessible hub for ourselves and the community. The building is on one level, so it’s perfect for those with poor mobility, and it will incorporate a registered ‘Changing Places’ facility which will be designed to support people who need assistance with personal care. We want to create an inspiring, friendly and stimulating environment that will be suitable for hosting a plethora of activities and workshops, and enhance community connectivity by complementing existing provision.
