As part of the exhibition we held two fashion shows featuring music from the past 50 years. Everyone had a ball!!! There’s definitely ‘No Party like a Mencap Party’!

How lucky are we to have this local community project on our doorstep! We love getting involved in this project and help out when we can. It’s great to see all the great restoration work that is being done.

Our local Singing Club will be dropping in to sing around the Christmas Tree on Tuesday 13th December between 10 am and 12 noon. Pick up a coffee and some freshly baked cake or savouries for £3.50. Pop in and see us, you’re sure of a warm welcome!
Whilst the Deputy Minister for Health & Social Services was visiting, we were lucky enough to receive a cheque for £2,500 which was presented by Wayne Crocker, Director of Mencap Cymru. This will go towards this year’s Christmas Party.
We were delighted to have a visit from the Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan this morning. She was met by Jo and Sue who showed her around our lovely building. She met with parents, trustees and enjoyed seeing everyone having fun before launching the Citizen Curators Project. This project will enable
Next week is our Wimbledon Special Pop Up Cafe on Tuesday 5th July. We have extended opening hours from 10 am – 1.30 pm and have a choice of coffee and cake at £3.50 or prosecco and cake at £5.50. Pop in and see us, you’re sure of a warm welcome.
